Pacific Loons occur in northwestern North America and northeastern Siberia. In North America they breed throughout Alaska and central and western Canada. They migrate almost exclusively along the Pacific coast of North America. This one was photographed in the Lake Hood Seaplane Marina in Anchorage, Alaska, USA.
