Clark's Nutcrackers occur throughout the mountains and northern climes of the western US and southern Canada. They are bold and will readily come to your hand for food. This one was photographed at a parking area along the north rim of Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona as it approached to within a few feet looking for a handout. Photo taken with a 55mm f1.8 Takumar (Pentax) lens on Kodachrome 64 film. (Date: August 1980)
