This "Eastern" Rufous-crowned Sparrow was photographed from a singing perch on the tip of a Yucca spine in the foothills of the Davis Mountains in western Texas. Photo taken with a 300mm f4.5 Nikkor ED lens on Kodachrome 200 film pushed to 800. (Date: May 1993)
