The Long-billed Thrasher is the southern counterpart of the Brown Thrasher, occurring in southern Texas. It is distinguished from the Brown Thrasher by the gray on the head and neck. This one was enjoying the handouts at a campground along the Rio Grande River in southern Texas. Photo taken with a 300mm f4.5 Nikkor ED lens on Ektachrome 400 film pushed to 800.
