Hermit Thrushes breed across southern Alaska and Canada, and the mountains and foothills of the northeastern and western US. They winter along the west coast and the southern US. This one was photographed during winter in central New Jersey. Photo taken with a 300mm f4 Nikkor EDAF lens on Kodachrome 200 film. (Date: February 1995)
