Red-eyed Vireos are common breeding birds of woodlands across southern Canada and the northcentral and eastern US. Their monotonous song of "VIR-EE-O VIR-EE-EE" is sung throughout even the hottest summer days. This Red-eyed Vireo was photographed at the Willows, Anahuac NWR, TX.
