[Vermivora ruficapilla] Nashville Warblers breed in the northwestern, northeastern, and Great Lakes states of the US and southeastern and southcentral Canada, where they are common in transition woodlands and spruce bogs. They are easily recognized by the combination of gray head, bold white eyering, olive drab back with no wingbars, and lemon yellow throat and underparts.
