Sooty Grouse (formerly known as Blue Grouse) are residents of the mountains and foothills of the western US and Canada. This "Southern Rockies" Sooty Grouse was photographed at Yovimpa Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah after it emerged from underneath one of the cars in the parking lot!
