Lesser Yellowlegs breed across Alaska and western and northcentral Canada. They winter along both coasts of the US, from Virginia to Texas in the east, and along the southern California coast in the west. This one was photographed along the shore of the Lake Hood Seaplane Marine in Anchorage, Alaska. Photo taken with a 300mm f4.5 Nikkor ED lens on Kodachrome 64 film. (Date: September 1991)
